The GITEX 2022 exhibition was held in the Dubai World Trade Center, bigger than in previous years. GITEX, which now has the suffix “Global” next to its name, hosted tens of thousands of people from more than 170 countries. Gitex 2022 also had two completely new sections: Global DevSlam, which was a gathering place for developers and programmers, and X-Verse, which was dedicated to the latest achievements in the field of metaverse and virtual reality.
The North Star Dubai exhibition was formerly known as GITEX Future Stars and was part of the GITEX Dubai exhibition, But now it is held independently and at the same time as the GITEX exhibition.
The target community of this exhibition is startups from all over the world and it gives them a unique opportunity to connect with international investors. In this event, startups have access to more than 400 investment companies and can also benefit from the support of companies and governments. In addition, this exhibition hosts more than 800 start-up businesses from 75 countries.
Because the North Star Dubai exhibition is a unique opportunity for startup ideas, Iranian startups will also seize this opportunity and participate in it. According to the head of the Information Technology Commission of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, 10 Iranian startups were sent to Dubai by the Trade Development Organization at the expense of the International Trade Center and participated in the 2022 North Star Exhibition in Dubai. These 10 startups were selected by the representatives of these two organizations after registration and qualitative evaluation.
The startups, although each of them was present in not-so-big booths in the fifth section of Zabeel Hall, were pursuing new goals and horizons in this event. Vera Deep Desert data mining company was also one of these innovative companies that operate in the field of data engineering, deep learning, remote sensing image collection, and processing (unmanned aerial vehicles or drones). This company aims to develop advanced artificial intelligence platforms to solve industrial problems.
During this trip, a large number of companies and people who met with Virakuir Company at the exhibition emphasized continuing communication and scientific and industrial cooperation. For example, companies such as Meissa, FutureMain, and Feelinads sent emails requesting online meetings on the very first days of the return, and Mr. Alavinkunhu Panthakkan showed his interest and readiness by sending an email on scientific and research cooperation.
The most important achievement of this company is the connection with the Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA). In this way, if the upcoming negotiations with this important company in the United Arab Emirates are successful, the field of extensive and deep cooperation with the water and electricity industry of the UAE will be provided.
Also, meeting with companies that had similar projects and were known as potential competitors of Vira in the global market completely opened our eyes to the challenges ahead and the advantages of the national project of Vira (AFTL) compared to foreign examples. Apart from that, it helped a lot in the company’s predictions and plans about the size of the market or the destination market in the future.
The expression of interest of both domestic and foreign investors in the AFTL project and smart agriculture during this exhibition raised the hopes of the company to attract capital.
Apart from these cases, according to the acknowledgment of the visiting individuals and companies, such projects are carried out by a company managed by an Iranian lady, relying on modern science and technology. They were surprised and called it admirable.
